Where did I disappear too?

It’s been a month or so since I last posted, so i thought I’d make a small personal update (something I do once every so often) to show I’m not gone, nor have I forgotten about the site or the extension 🙂

So here’s what’s new:
1. New (Awesome) Girlfriend (Picture of us here)

2. Re-kindled my interest in Photoshop, Digital Art, and Photo-manipulation. Refer to the picture of Diana and myself (above) and the piece of digital art, myThoughts, below.

3. I passed the Google Code Jam Qualifying Round

6059th place! (lol) – Hey, that’s not bad for programming in C++, a language that I picked up 2 weeks ago. Ok, ok, my girlfriend helped me a bunch too – she’s real good at this stuff. I registered under the following moniker: Glorious.Lovemaker

4. New Hobby: Geocaching (http://www.geocaching.com)

In the process of creating a website to chronicle my hides and finds. I’ll post it here once it’s complete – it’s almost done (90%).

5. Almost done a NEW Firefox Extension

Well. technically I’m updating an extension that was not updated for Firefox 3.0 and adding a feature. I started it a few weeks ago, but became quite pre-occupied with work and fun, that I had to drop it. I’ll try to get back to it this weekend, because this one will be HUGE if I get it working properly.

I won’t mention what it is until I finish it, if I finish it.

6. Learned a bit of Ajax

I’ll try to update Email This! with some AJAX code before the summer ends, and the craziness of grad school begins.
